“Joy and Happiness” IN PEARLS, PARADOXES AND ECSTASY FESTIVAL

“Joy and Happiness / Öröm és boldogság” deals with a sensitive topic: the situation of the gay community in Transylvania. But in fact, this is not a sensitive issue at all, because society accepts homosexuals. You just have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people. And to pretend I’m not what I am. And then everyone is happy. The play features ordinary people. Women and men, townspeople and villagers, gays and heterosexuals. Some parallel destinies meet and break up, having some insignificant quarrels, false problems, freaks, minor hysteria. Nothing important. They are happy people.

Székely Csaba and Ándi Gherghe, together with the actors: Fodor Piroska, Benedek Botond, Orbán Levente, Kovács Károly, Nagy István, Petra Badics and Szász Réka will put us in front of a story, ultimately tragic, but treated with a black humor. black. The show “Joy and Happiness” will take us to the LGBT world in Transylvania with at the same time playful, hard, sensitive, sophisticated, and rudimentary means of transportation.
